Performance Basketball

Coach Ben Perkins went to Vinton High School where he graduated in 1997 as a Top 50 recruit in the nation. He then attended Providence College and was named to the Big East All-Freshman Team his first season. After a coaching change he transferred back to his home state of Louisiana and played his last 2 college seasons at McNeese State University where he helped them to 2 Conference Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance. After Coach Perkins college career he had a very successful professional career playing for 9 years in 5 countries (Korea, Portugal, Germany, Luxembourg, and Finland) winning 2 Championships.

Coach then choose to retire and begin training and coaching to allow him to be closer to his family. The past 8 years he has trained and coached some of the top boys and girls in the Houston area on the Elite AAU Circuit, as well as in High School winning multiple high school state championships.  He has also serves as Nation Scout/Camp Director for John Lucas Enterprises for the past 3 years.
